The Caddo Nation Security Department’s paramount responsibility is to ensure safety and maintain peace and harmony for daily operations at the Caddo Nation of Oklahoma. Protect the public through proactive law enforcement and promote a safe and secure environment. Address issues that impede or disrupt the orderly operation of the academic process. Protect the Caddo Nation of Oklahoma property by initiating security action, enforcing tribal laws and regulations, detaining offenders and educating other departments in security awareness. Mitigate liability and hazards to the Caddo Nation of Oklahoma, tribal employees, tribal members and tribal property.

In September of 2010 the Attorney General informed the Caddo Nation that the Office of Justice Programs (DOJ) approved their application for funding under the SMART (Office of Sex Offender Sentencing, Monitoring, Apprehending, Registering and Tracking) office Support for the Adam Walsh Act Implementation Grant Program.
The Caddo Nation has implemented the requirement of SORNA as directed by the Department of Justice, to give the Caddo Nation Community and the surrounding communities access the “Caddo Nation Sex Offender Public Website.”
