Today, the Office of Management and Budget OMB in Washington, DC under the Trump administration announced a temporary pause on federal financial assistance obligations and disbursements, effective immediately. This pause is part of a federal review of funding tied to the Inflation Reduction Act, Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, and diversity and equity programs, with findings due by February 10, 2025.

While the full impact on the Caddo Nation remains unclear, we are preparing for potential budgetary constraints. Thanks to responsible management of our treasury, we are ready to address these challenges and will share our contingency plans soon.
